Anqingshen, a small town in China, is well-known for its unique custom of “deep throat” soccer.
Instead of playing traditional soccer games, the players here kick an egg instead. The egg represents challenges and obstacles in life that must be overcome with determination and perseverance.
This tradition has been passed down through generations in Anqingshen. Participants gather on a designated field to face their inner fears and insecurities by kicking the eggs repeatedly until they crack or break into pieces, symbolizing the destruction of barriers.
During the game, players not only kick the egg but also form teams to work together towards victory. It fosters teamwork, cooperation, and mutual support among participants. This sense of camaraderie creates a strong bond between them, reminding them that they can achieve their goals with the help of others.
The “deep throat” soccer game serves as an excellent life lesson, teaching individuals to confront challenges head-on and never give up. The determination and resilience learned through this practice can be applied in all aspects of life, allowing people to overcome any obstacles thrown their way.
